Abstract
This, the first part of a two-part article, summarises EU competition law developments between November 2018 and October 2019. Discusses theories relating to the digital economy and competition law, developments in legislative practice, including EU guidelines on estimating passing on in damages actions, consultation on vertical and horizontal restraints, and EU case law on general competition issues and cartel appeals.
