Abstract
Considers the issues that Ireland's state dispute resolution agencies may have to address where US and UK companies are advising their European Works Councils (EWCs) that they will be legally basing them in Ireland following Brexit. Highlights a case before the UK's Central Arbitration Committee concerning ManpowerGroup on whether the company had failed to establish an EWC on the subsidiary requirements within the specified negotiating period.
