Abstract
Discusses two Fam Div decisions on transferring a child's place of residence from one parent to the other. Considers the shift away from the last resort approach to a change of residence to a refocus on the welfare needs of the child and promoting a relationship with both parents. Comments on psychological evidence of emotional harm to the child where there is a parental alienation scenario.
