Abstract
Comments on the Court of Appeal ruling in Scotland v British Credit Trust Ltd on whether the relationship between the parties was unfair, for the purposes of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 s.140A, where a windows salesman misrepresented to the claimants that they were required to purchase payment protection insurance in order to secure a loan from the defendant to finance the purchase of windows.
