Abstract
Discusses the results of the 2009 IFLR Asian Bankers' Counsel Poll. Highlights views on the standard of diligence on initial public offerings (IPOs), the need for pre-IPO filings to the Hong Kong exchange (A1 filings) to be made public, encouraging a more litigious culture in Asia, increased regulation, in-house resources, structured products, regulatory convergence, and exchange competition. Includes pie charts illustrating the poll's findings.
