Notes the Queen's Bench Division decision in Quest 4 Finance Ltd v Maxfield on whether a warranty in a loan agreement to the effect that the directors of the borrower would be personally liable for the sums borrowed if the borrower went into administration should be set aside on the grounds that the directors were induced to complete the contract by a material misrepresentation in the finance company's brochure that personal guarantees were not needed.
