Abstract
Discusses the changes to the procedure for dealing with well known trade marks in Lithuania, effected by the Lithuanian Supreme Court's decision in the METAXA case on whether a mark must be recognised as well known in adversarial proceedings. Considers whether the changes have weakened the protection granted to well known marks, with reference to case law subsequent to METAXA.
