Discusses issues surrounding the termination of property contracts in Ireland. Considers the significance of the Supreme Court of Ireland decision in Kiely v Delaney on whether a vendor was entitled to rely on the right to rescind a contract for the sale of land if the purchasers failed to withdraw their requisitions on title as to a right of way after the vendor had failed to comply with those requisitions. Looks at the applicability of the Law Society of Ireland's standard form of contract for sale, notably condition 18.
