Expresses concerns about the Solicitors Regulation Authority's proposals for the two-part solicitors qualifying examination (SQE). Considers the standard and multiple-choice format of the tests, potential damage to solicitors' reputation by the lowering of standards of qualification, the cost of the SQE, and the likely disruption for firms providing skills training.
