Abstract
Responds to the article by Alec Samuel entitled "The duty of candour: openness, transparency and candour", Med. Leg. J. 2017, 85(3), 138-140, by pointing out that the duty of candour has been extended to registered medical professionals by a recent amendment to the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 reg.20. Presents a correction to the article to make this clear.
