Abstract
Compares the protections available to foreign investors under the laws of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Considers the feasibility of creating a harmonised framework for investment dispute settlement in the Arab Mediterranean region by examining the experiences of states that are parties to the ICSID Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes Between States and Nationals of Other States 1965.
