Abstract
Highlights three emerging trends under the senior managers and certification regime: the assessment of an individual's fitness and propriety by financial services firms; the effects of the regulatory references regime; and a dilution of the talent pool where senior managers and material risk takers choose to leave their job because of the risk to their remuneration from the operation of the malus and clawback rules.
