Abstract
Discusses the reputational and financial risk law firms take in tolerating "maverick" partners who are at high risk of making ethical compromises for financial gain. Considers what action can be taken to identify these partners, manage bad behaviour through reward programmes, embed desired behaviours and culture, and address difficult behaviours.
