Abstract
This chapter evaluates the impacts of accelerated measles elimination activities (AMEAs) on immunization services and health systems in six countries: Bangladesh, Brazil, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Tajikistan, and Vietnam. The impacts of AMEAs are assessed according to the following components: governance, planning and management, financing, human resources, logistics and procurement, information system, surveillance, and service delivery and demand generation. The impacts of AMEAs varied, with positive and negative implications in specific immunization and health system functions.
