Abstract
From the well-known escape probability of a recoil nucleus with a given energy and direction from the surface layer of a solid body, the escape probability was derived for the case in which a spectrum of recoil directions is present, for example in (n,p) reactions with reactor neutrons. The general derivations were applied to the special cases Al(n,p)Mg and Al(n, alpha )Na. (tr-auth)
