Possibility of determining the quark charge from the value of the mean charge of a hadronic jet generated by it

Abstract
It is shown that additive quantum numbers of hadronic jets averaged over many events correspond to the quantum numbers of the quarks initiating the jets at high energies if the baryon number of the jet is on the average equal to the baryon number of the initiating quark.
