Abstract
Nuclear charge, mass, and kinetic energies were measured in fragments from the reactions of /sup 8/6Kr + /sup 1/24Sn at 440- and 720-MeV bombarding energies. From these data it was deduced that the internal excitation energy of the strongly damped products divides proportionally with the mass.
