This paper describes the Community demonstration activities, their context and the type and specific features of financial support given to the projects, the invitations to tender, proposals received and projects selected, amount of financial support given, sectors covered, type of projects, their progress and preliminary results, most representative projects and their progress and results, scope of future activities and dissemination of results.
