Abstract
New data are presented on two-particle inclusive reactions of the types K/sup -/p..-->../sup -/..pi../sup -/..pi../sup + -/+X and K/sup -/p..-->..K/sup n/..pi../sup + -/ +X in K/sup -/p interactions at 23 GeV/c. The two-particle invariant distributions d/sup 2/sigma/dy/sub 1/dy/sub 2/ and d/sup 2/ sigma/dp/sub T1//sup 2/ dp/sub T2//sup 2/ and the correlation function C(y/sub 1/,y/sub 2/) are used to investigate the effect of the accompanying particle on the ..pi../sup + -/ and K/sup n/ spectra. The parts played by long-range and short-range correlations are discussed. (AIP)
