Abstract
A forecast is presented of the potential for major new international pipelines that may be engineered and constructed in the period from 1985 to 2000. Forecasts are developed for the transportation needs that will arise based on the demand and production seen for oil, gas, and coal. A discussion is presented of the actual pipelines that are expected to come about because of these potential transportation opportunities.
