Abstract
16 patients diagnosed with mild mental retardation, F70/ICD-10, were tested with Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale - 4th ed. (WAIS-IV). The patients have previously been tested with WAIS-III. The time span between the WAIS-III and the WAIS-IV testing was 6 years. Comparisons of the results from test to retest showed a tendency towards lower score on WAIS-IV with the new norms. To consider whether this would apply to the Scandinavian norms, the results were rescored with American norms. The two sets of the norm results gave approximately identical results.
