Abstract
At the end of 2015 the medical statutory accident procedure, the so-called H-physician procedure (special healing procedures) according to the requirements of the statutory accident insurance § 34 Social Security Code (SGB) VII from 1 January 2006, will terminate. On application a participation as a so-called D-physician (accident insurance consultant) is possible in accordance with the D-physician requirements version from 1 January 2011 but many H-physicians will not fulfil these requirements. Therefore, after 1 January 2016 the H-physicians are threatened with losing the possibility to initiate and carry out statutory accident procedures. This will particularly affect the many H-physicians who function as team doctors in sports and athletics clubs.
