Abstract
3D CAD 모델은 사용 목적에 따라 다양한 수준의 상세도(LOD)를 요구한다. 따라서 사용자가 원하는 상세도에 맞도록 3D CAD 모델을 자동으로 단순화하는 기술이 요구된다. 제품 설계의 산출물은 일반적으로 3D CAD 조립체 모델이기 때문에 사용자가 3D CAD 조립체 모델의 LOD를 제어하는 것을 지원하는 시스템이 필요하다. 이 연구는 3D CAD 어셈블리 모델의 단순화를 위한 UG NX 기반 플러그인 타입 시스템의 개발 결과를 제시한다.
Three-dimensional (3D) CAD models require different levels of detail (LOD) depending on the purpose. Therefore, it is necessary to automatically simplify a 3D CAD model to meet the LOD desired by a user. The system supporting the control of a 3D CAD assembly model must allow the appropriate LOD in the design of an end product. In this paper, we present the results of an UG NX-based plug-in type system for the simplification of 3D CAD assembly models.
