한우 OPU 유래 수정란이식과 번식현황 조사

Abstract
한우에서 생체난자 채취 (Ovum Pick-up, OPU) 방법으로 생산된 수정란이식 현황과 번식실태조사를 실시한 연구결과이다. 조사는 4개도 6개 지역 47개 농가를 직접 방문하여 결과를 도출하였다. OPU 유래 수정란이식 농가의 경영형태는 일관사육농가 78.7 %, 번식우 21.3%로 조사되었으며, 평균 사육 두수는전체 139.9±93.9, 번식우 88.2±62.7, 비육우 25.1±27.9, 송아지 및 육성우 28.0±25.1 두였다. OPU 유래 수정란이식 임신율은 평균 56.8 %(399/702 두), 수정란이식에 따른 임신기간은 암‧수 각각 285.0±2.8일, 281.5±0.7일로 나타났다. OPU 유래 분만 송아지의 생시체중은 암컷 33.0±1.4 kg, 수컷 38.0±4.2 kg으로 나타났으며, 분만 시 난산의 비율은 약 3.8 %(15/399)의 비율을 보였다. 결론적으로 본 연구의 결과는 우량 한우 암소 번식 연구를 위한 기초 자료로 활용이 가능 할 것이다.
This study aimed to investigate the embryo transfer and breeding status of embryos using the ovum pick-up (OPU) method in Korean native Hanwoo cows. The survey involved personally visiting 47 farms across four provinces and six regions. The management type of the OPU-derived embryo transfer farms was fatting management for 78.7% of the farms and breeding cows for the balance 21.3%. The average number of animals on these farms was 139.9±93.9, with 88.2±62.7 breeding cows, 25.1±27.9 fattening cows, and 28.0±25.1 calves and growing cows. The average pregnancy rate among the OPU-embryo transfer cows was 56.8% (399/702), and the gestation period for these cows was 285.0±2.8 days for females and 281.5±0.7 days for males. The birth weight of the calves delivered from OPU-derived pregnant cows was 33.0±1.4 kg for females and 38.0±4.2 kg for males, respectively. The rate of dystocia during calving was approximately 3.8% (15/399). In conclusion, the results of this study can be used as foundational data for breeding superior Hanwoo cows.
