Abstract
In recent years, stiff shoulders and low back pain have become more severe as national diseases in Japan. The National Life Basic Survey data conducted by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan show that the number of patients with low back pain and stiff shoulders was the highest in the past three decades. Musculoskeletal symptoms such as stiff shoulders and low back pain are considered to occur when daily factors such as age, obesity, work environment, and illness strongly affect disc degeneration. In addition, it is considered that about 20% of chronic patients had alleviated their symptoms by temporary medical treatment. In other words, stiff shoulders and low back pain are easy to get and hard to cure. This research aimed to implement a system that proposes a posture that is able to prevent musculoskeletal disorders by deriving the degree of fatigue based on appropriate parameters using Azure Kinect DK, which is a three-dimensional depth sensor.
