Abstract
In this paper, the gamut grasping method for a CIELAB color space, which is based on a bisection method, is proposed. The gamut grasping is to obtain the color values which can be correctly displayed on a monitor. The effectiveness of the proposed gamut grasping method is proved by applying it to the image enhancement.
