원불교『예전』의 변천과 「가례편」혁신예법의 특징

Abstract
본 연구는 원불교『예전』의 변천과 「가례편」의 특징에 대한 연구이다. 1917년 저축조합을 통한 새 생활 운동은 제자들의 정신을 일깨우고, 생활 속에서 낭비되어온 물질적 생활을 바로 잡기 위한 운동이었다. 그 중 천제(天祭)의 폐지는 소태산의 구도과정 속에서 스스로 체험한 확고한 신념에 기초한 혁신예법의 시작이었다. 1926년 신정의례의 발표를 통해 생활의 구속과 경제에 허비를 하였던 생활을 바로잡았고, 제자들이 앞장서서 법을 실행하였다. 이후 1935년 불법연구회 예전, 1952년 『예전』(임시판), 1968년 현행 『예전』에 이르기까지 어떻게 예법이 변천이 되었는지 살펴본다. 이러한 원불교 『예전』은 소태산, 정산, 대산의 3대에 걸친 작업으로 소태산부터 흐르는 근본정신의 맥이 그대로 이어짐을 알 수 있다. 그 중, 민중의 삶과 연관이 깊은 관혼상제의 「가례편」의 내용을 살펴보고, 특징을 정리하였다. 『예전』 「가례편」의 혁신예법의 특징은 3가지로 정리해 볼 수 있다. 첫째는, 미신적인 내용을 과감하게 혁신하여 이치에 맞도록 한 진리성의 특징이 있다. 둘째는, 시대에 맞게 의식을 제정한 시대성의 특징이 있으며, 셋째는, 저축을 통해 생활의 근간을 세우며, 공익적인 삶을 통해 많은 사람들에게 이익을 주는 공익성의 특징을 가지고 있다.
This research is a study on the changes of Won-Buddhism in the past and the characteristics of Gagyepyeon. In 1917, the new life movement through the savings association was a movement to awaken the spirit of the disciples and to correct the material life that had been wasted in life. Among them, the abolition of Cheonje was the beginning of innovation art based on the firm beliefs experienced by himself in the process of Sotaesan"s structure. In 1926, through the announcement of the Shinjung Rite, the life that had been wasted on the confinement and economy was corrected, and the disciples took the lead in implementing the law. Since then, we will look at how the etiquette has changed from before the illegal research group in 1935, before the (temporary edition) in 1952, and before the current one in 1968. In the past of Won-Buddhism, it can be seen that the vein of the fundamental spirit flowing from Sotaesan Mountain continues as it is through three generations of work: Sotaesan Mountain, Jeongsan Mountain, and Daesan Mountain. Among them, the contents of the ritual section of the ceremonial occasions, which are closely related to the lives of the people, were examined and the characteristics were summarized. There are three characteristics of the innovative ritual practices of the Gaeryepyeon. First, there is a characteristic of truthfulness that boldly innovates superstitious content to make sense. Second, it has the characteristics of the times when consciousness was established according to the times, and third, it has the characteristics of public interest that establishes the basis of life through savings and benefits many people through public life.
