Abstract
This article reviews the imaging features of the anatomic changes following major lung resection. Procedures discussed include pneumonectomy, lobectomy, and the use of surgical flaps. A knowledge of these imaging appearances is crucial to avoid misinterpreting normal findings as complications, which could lead to inaccurate diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
