Abstract
This chapter discusses the cyclical process of teaching and learning, and the reciprocal nature of students who have been thoughtfully taught becoming thoughtful teachers themselves in the work with their own students. The chapter further describes the powerful influence of teaching students of many levels of accomplishment with a positive and open mindset, and the benefits of learning from that experience. Collaborating and learning from others expands our outreach and improves our skills. Teachers who embrace the opportunity to teach different levels of students see that the high standards of musicianship they teach can and will be passed on to the enthusiastic and well-trained musicians of tomorrow.
