Abstract
Bohemian School, 19th century, male. Born 1851, in Tremošyná, near Pilsen (now Plzen, Czech Republic); died 1901, in Paris. Painter. History painting, genre scenes, portraits. After studying at the school of fine art in Prague, Wenceslas Broczik followed courses at the Munich academy, albeit unsuccessfully, in 1873, under Piloty.
