Belgian, 20th century, female. Born 1921, in Liège. Painter. Many Belgian galleries hold solo shows dedicated to Picon's work: in 1991, a 1957-1990 retrospective was held at the Art Gallery in Lasne (Brabant); 1992, the Galerie Primaver in Verviers; 1993, the Galerie Valentin in Eupen. Her deliberately rounded forms all interlink like a brightly coloured jigsaw puzzle....
