German, 19th century, male. Born 13 June 1815, in Schwerin; died 17 May 1901, in Schwerin. Painter. Landscapes, architectural views. The patronage of Duchess Helen of Orléans enabled the painter Friedrich Jentzen to attend classes at the academy in Berlin, where his teachers were K. Gropius and W. Kranse.
