Abstract
The evaluation of pulmonary nodules requires consideration of several factors, including the patient’s underlying risk for malignancy, nodule characteristics, and systemic conditions associated with pulmonary manifestations. Society guidelines and prediction equations may support management decisions, which should ultimately be made on a case-by-case basis.
