In this study, examined the impact of adults' motivation to use SNS on their level of digital citizenship behavior and analyzed whether SNS usage time controls this influence relationship. To this end, a survey was conducted on 240 adults living in Korea who normally use SNS for a total of 30 days from April 1 to 30, 2023, and the results of the study statistically processed using the SPSS program based on the collected data were derived as follows. First, adults' motivation to use SNS had a significant effect on the level of digital citizenship behavior, play motivation had a negative effect, and information-seeking motivation had a positive effect. Second, SNS usage time did not mediating the relationship between SNS usage motivation and digital citizenship behavior level. Based on these research results, future cultural content policies and research implications centered on SNS argued.
