이 연구는 애니메이션 <심해>에서의 상징적 상호작용과 캐릭터의 심리적 발전을 탐구한다. 상징적 상호작용 이론을 통해 캐릭터 간의 사회적 상호작용이 어떻게 서사 발전을 촉진하며, 캐릭터가 역할 연기와 자기 성찰을 통해 어떻게 심리적 성장을 이루는지를 분석한다. 본 연구는 <심해>를 사례로 삼아 상징적 사용과 캐릭터의 심리 측면을 심화하고, 애니메이션 제작과 이론 연구를 지원하는 새로운 관점을 제공한다. 또한, 시각적 요소, 캐릭터의 행동, 내면적 경험을 세심히 관찰하여 이러한 요소들이 서사 현실을 구축하고 캐릭터의 자아 인식을 형성하는 방법을 밝힌다. 연구 결과는 <심해>의 상징이 관객을 끌어들이는 데 중요한 역할을 하며, 캐릭터 간의 사회적 상호 작용이 서사 전개와 캐릭터의 심리적 성장을 촉진하는 핵심임을 보여준다. 또한, 상징적 상호 작용 이론이 캐릭터의 심리와 사회적 상호 작용을 이해하는 데 적용 가치가 있다는 점을 강조한다. 이러한 결과는 애니메이션 제작에 실용적인 지침을 제공하고, 상징의 의식적 사용이 캐릭터 디자인과 서사 세계 구축에 중요하다는 것을 강조한다. 앞으로의 연구는 다양한 애니메이션 사례를 활용하여 더 포괄적이고 심층적인 연구를 진행할 것이며, 다른 이론과 결합하여 애니메이션 제작과 이론 연구를 보다 풍부하게 이끌어낼 것이다.
This study delves into symbolic interaction and character psychological development in The Deep Sea animated film, analyzing how character interactions drive narrative development and foster psychological growth. Using symbolic interaction theory and a case study approach, it deepens comprehension of symbols and character psychology, offering a novel perspective for animated filmmaking and theoretical research. Through detailed examination of visual elements, character behavior, and inner experiences, it demonstrates how these components shape narrative reality and character self-awareness. The findings highlight the crucial role of symbols in audience engagement and underscore the importance of character interactions for narrative progression and psychological development. Furthermore, it emphasizes the applicability of symbolic interaction theory in understanding character psychology and social dynamics, providing practical insights for animated film production and advocating deliberate symbol usage in character design and narrative construction. Future research will broaden this scope by incorporating diverse animated film cases and integrating additional theories to enhance both production and theoretical research in the field.
