Abstract
The production of global warming gas has been raised. Refrigerant gases, those have been utilized to air conditioner, refrigerator, etc., used have been substituted to global warming effect free gases gradually, but most of the gases have been discarded. Currently used R-134a/R-1234yf mixed gas cannot be purified through fractional distillation process due to their differences of boiling points under 10 ℃, instead, the alternative separation process is required. In this work, by modifying single mixed ionic liquid polymeric membrane, we adopted heterojunction membrane composed of ionic liquid/polymeric membrane bilayer structure. Through the utilization of the heterojunction membrane into gas separation experimental apparatus, we proposed the separation of R-1234yf from the R-134a/R-1234yf mixture with up to 10.34 Lㆍm-2 ㆍmin-1 separation velocity. By simply introducing versatile ionic liquid component in the bilayer structure the facile modification strategy could be utilized for various mixed gas separation process.
