춘추시대를 무도한 시대라고 하는 것은 서주를 대체하는 새로운 질서 규범이 정립되지 못한 상태임을 뜻한다. 열국은 강국이 되기 위한 개혁을 우선하여, 춘추시대의 정치경제적 격변이 전국시대의 통일 전쟁으로 이어졌다. 그러나 춘추시대가 서주의 개념에 기반하여 한층 현실적이고 구체화된 규범을 제기하고 있었다는 점은 주목해야 한다. 현실은 전쟁의 시대로 흘러가고 있었지만, 새로운 사회질서에 기반하여 행위를 하고 또 새로운 사회 규범 수립의 과제를 자신의 천명으로 삼는 사람들이 춘추시대 내부에서 성장하고 있었던 것이다.
The Chunqiu Period is called the ruthless era, which means that a new order norm that replaces the western Zhou has not been established. The political economic upheaval of the Chunqiu Period led to the unification war of the Warring state era. However, it should be noted that the Chunqiu Period raised more realistic and concrete norms based on the concept of the Zhou. The reality was flowing into the era of war, but people who resisted and made the task of establishing the virtue country for the people were growing inside the Chunqiu Period.
