Abstract
본 연구는 청소년의 정신건강을 도모하기 위하여 다양한 업무를 수행하는 청소년상담기관의 직무 환경에서 초심상담자가 발달하는데 있어서 직무경험을 이해하고 이를 구체적으로 탐색하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 공공지원을 받는 청소년상담복지센터, Wee센터, Wee클래스에 근무하는 경력 5년 이하의 초심 청소년상담자 10명을 대상으로 반구조화 질문지를 사용하여 질적 면접을 실시하여 참여자의 경험과 입장을 성찰하고 기술하도록 하였다. 질문지는 6개의 영역으로 구성되어 있는데 청소년상담사 자기평가 및 발달과정, 상담실 업무와 역할, 상담실 업무에서 느끼는 만족과 어려움 및 대처전략, 상담에 대한 관점과 입장, 영향력의 원천, 제언 및 면접 소감으로 개방형 질문을 사용하였다. 본 연구는 현상학적 연구방법을 사용하여 연구결과의 의미와 시사점을 도출하였다. 현상학적 방법론에 초점을 두어 이론적 틀과 분석을 사용한 이유는 초심 청소년상담사의 근무경험과 전문성 발달에 대한 공유된 경험의 의미와 본질을 보다 심층적으로 밝히기 위해서이다. 분석결과, (1) 현장경험의 난관과 보상, (2) 청소년상담사의 길잡이, (3) 전문성향상을 위한 고민, 노력, 그리고 실천, (4) 업무 숙달과 전문성 발달에 대한 고민 중심으로 기술하였다. 이어서 초심 청소년상담자들이 겪는 어려움을 중심으로 발달적 관점에서 연구결과를 논의하였다. 마지막으로 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 후속연구를 위한 제안점을 제시하였다. 공공지원을 받는 청소년상담기관에서 근무하는 초심 청소년상담자의 경험에 대해 풍부하게 살펴봄으로써 이들이 처한 상황과 당면과제에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있었다는 점에서 의미 있는 연구라 할 수 있다.
This study was designed to understand the experiences in the development of beginner counselors in the job environment of youth counseling institutions that perform various tasks in order to promote the mental health of adolescents, and to explore them in detail. To this end, a qualitative interview was conducted using a semi-structured questionnaire for 10 beginner youth counselors with less than 5 years of experience working at youth counseling and welfare centers, Wee centers, and Wee classes receiving public support to reflect on the participants' experiences and positions. And described. The questionnaire is composed of six areas. It is open to youth counselor self-assessment and development process, counseling room work and role, satisfaction and difficulties and coping strategies in counseling room work, perspective and position on counseling, source of influence, suggestions and interview impression I used the question. This study derives the meaning and implications of the research results using phenomenological research methods. The reason for using the theoretical framework and analysis with a focus on phenomenological methodology is to clarify the meaning and essence of the shared experience of the work experience and professional development of beginner youth counselors in more depth. The interview transcripts were analyzed through coding and theme analysis methods by the research team of 2 members including researchers. As a result of the analysis, (1) difficulties and rewards of field experience, (2) guidance of youth counselors, (3) concerns, efforts, and practices for professional improvement, and (4) concerns about job proficiency and professional development were described. Following the above results, We finally discussed contributions and limitations of the study, and the need to develop some suggestions for future research. This study can be said to be a meaningful study in that it was possible to enhance their understanding of the situation and challenges they face by looking at the experiences of beginner youth counselors working at youth counseling institutions receiving public support.
