Abstract
연구 목적: 이 연구는 의과대학생들의 공감, 자아존중감, 대인관계능력, 의사소통능력의 관계를 파악하고 의사소통능력에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 방법: A 의과대학생 74명을 대상으로 하였다. 자아존중감척도, 대인관계반응지수, 대인관계능력, 의사소통능력 검사를 연구도구로 사용하였다. 자료는 기술통계, 신뢰도 검증, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구 내용: 연구결과, 의사소통능력은 공감, 대인관계능력, 자아존중감과 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있었고, 의사소통능력에 영향을 미치는 변인은 대인관계능력으로 나타났다. 결론 및 제언: 많은 의과대학이 의사소통 관련 교육프로그램을 개발하고 준비하는데 이번 연구결과가 기초자료로 활용될 것을 기대한다.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among empathy, self-esteem, interpersonal relationship, and communication skill of pre-clerkship medical students and to explore factors affecting the communication skill. The participants were 74 medical students at A medical school. The measurement tools included the Interpersonal Reactive Index, the Self esteem scale, the Interpersonal competence questionnaire and Communication skill test. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability verification, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted. Communication skill had a statistically significant correlation with empathy, interpersonal relationship, and self-esteem. The variable affecting the communication skill was found to be ‘interpersonal relationship’. It is expected that many medical schools will use the results of this study as basic data to develop and prepare education programs related communication.
