Abstract
본 연구는 청소년기 중도입국 학생들의 어려움 극복을 돕는 방안으로 다문화 특색 공립학교에 진로교육을 개발 및 적용하고 학생들의 참여경험을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 근거이론에 기반한 질적 연구방법을 사용하여 청소년기 중도입국 학생들이 겪는 어려움, 진로교육을 포함한 다양한 변인들과의 상호작용 속에서 참여자들의 경험과 진로발달 과정의 특징을 수집 및 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 참여자들이 직면한 가장 큰 어려움은 정체성 혼란, 위축됨 등의 부정적 감정을 포함한 내적 어려움이었다. 둘째, 참여자들은 진로교육에서 다양한 경험을 하며 인지·정서적으로 유의미한 영향을 받았다. 셋째, 참여자들은 진로교육을 통해 진로발달 경험을 하였다. 넷째, 진로교육 외의 변인들 또한 참여자들의 진로발달에 영향을 주었다. 연구결과를 토대로 근거이론에 입각한 패러다임 모형과 상황모형을 제시하였으며, 청소년기 중도입국 학생들을 위한 진로교육의 시사점을 도출하였다.
As a way to overcome the difficulties of immigrant students, this study aims to design and apply career education at the multicultural public school and explore their participation experiences in the process. The research problem was to identify the reality of the difficulties experienced by immigrant students and to examine the career development process of participants in interactions with various variables including career education. Qualitative research was conducted based on grounded theory. As a result of the study, first, the biggest difficulty faced by the participants was internal difficulty. Second, They experienced various experiences in career education and were significantly influenced cognitively and emotionally. Third, the career development of participants through career education was achieved. Fourth, variables other than career education also affected the career development of participants. These research results were derived as a paradigm model and a situation model by selective coding. It is hoped that career education for immigrant students will gradually be expanded and realized from a rather special case of multicultural public schools so that they can overcome internal difficulties and become healthy members of our society.
