Abstract
본 연구는 북한 출신 지식인들의 주체사상 신봉과 해체 그리고 결과를 분석한 사례연구이다. 연구에서는 탈북 북한 지식인들이 주체사상의 모순을 어떻게 해체했으며 그 결과는 어떠한지를 분석하고자 했다. 연구자들은 현상에 대한 새로운 통찰력을 얻기 위해 질적 사례연구 방법으로 접근했다. 연구에는 북한 출신 지식인 9명이 참여했다. 자료는 참여자들과 일대일 심층 면담을 통해 구성했다. 자료는 Stake(2010)가 제시한 패턴 매칭 기법으로 분석했으며 Yin(2009)이 제시한 사례연구 분석 모델에 따라 재배열했다. 자료를 분석한 결과 연구 참여자들로부터 20개의 주제를 도출했고 이를 7개의 주제 결집으로 제시했다. 주제 결집 결과는 다음과 같다. 분석 단위인 주체사상의 모순에서 맹목적 신봉, 최고의 권력 선군정치, 새로운 마약 주체사상, 지식인의 허위의식이 도출되었다. 주체사상의 해체라는 분석 단위에서 경제하는 인간으로의 진화, 절대 사상은 절대 모순이라는 주제 결집이 도출되었다. 분석단위 주체사상 해체의 결과에서 자본주의 순기능 인식으로 나타났다. 연구 결과에 근거하여 주체사상은 지식인들에게 아편이었음을 논의했고 지식인들뿐만 아니라 북한이탈주민들의 주체사상을 해체하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있는 전문가 양성을 제언했다.
This study is a case study that analyzes the beliefs, dissolution, and results of North Korean intellectuals. The study attempted to analyze how North Korean defectors dismantled the contradictions of the Juche idea and what the results were. Researchers approached it with a qualitative case study method to gain new insights into the phenomenon. Nine North Korean intellectuals participated in the study. The data was organized through one-on-one in-depth interviews with participants. The data were analyzed using the pattern matching technique suggested by Stake(2010) and were rearranged according to the case study analysis model presented by Yin(2009). As a result of analyzing the data, 20 topics were derived from the study participants and presented as 7 topics aggregation. The result of topic aggregation is as follows. Blind faith, the best power-first politics, the new drug subject ideology, and the false consciousness of intellectuals were derived from the contradiction of the subject ideology, which is the unit of analysis. In the analysis unit of the dissolution of the subject ideology, the unity of the theme of evolution into humans under the economy and absolute contradiction was derived. In the result of the dissolution of the subject ideology of the analysis unit, it was found to be the recognition of the positive function of capitalism. Based on the results of the study, it was discussed that the Juche ideology was opium to intellectuals and suggested fostering experts who could help dismantle the Juche ideology of North Korean defectors as well as intellectuals.
