Abstract
본 연구는 노동자 출신 북한이탈주민들의 정체성 재구성과 주체사상 극복에 대한 연구이다. 연구에서는 노동자 출신 북한이탈주민들이 주체사상을 어떻게 극복했으며 새로운 정체성 구성의 결과는 어떠한지를 탐구하고자 했다. 연구자는 사례연구 방법으로 접근했다. 연구자들은 최대 변량표집으로 접근하여 9명의 연구 참여자를 선정했다. 자료는 연구 참여자들과 일대일 심층 면담을 수행하여 구성했다. 자료 분석은 Braun과 Clarke(2005)가 제시한 주제 분석 방법으로 접근했다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 자료를 분석한 결과 141개의 의미 있는 주제가 도출되었고 이를 22개의 주제로 압축했다. 그리고 7개의 주제 결집으로 제시했다. 주제 결집은 계급 해체의 희망, 선군정치의 그늘, 통제의 권력 속에서 권리의 압류, 배고픈 공화국에 대한 분노, 사상의 올무 끊기, 기회의 발견과 도전, 국민을 섬기는 국가로 나타났다. 연구 결과에 근거하여 논의를 했고 북한이탈주민들의 발전과 도전을 위한 구체적 제언을 했다.
This study is about reconstructing the identity of North Korean defectors who were as laborers and overcoming their Juche ideology. In this study, we tried to explore how workers-turned-North Korean defectors overcame the Juche ideology and what the results of the new identity construction were. The authors approached the case study method. Nine study participants were selected by approaching the maximum variance sampling. One-on-one in-depth interviews were conducted with the research participants. Data analysis was approached with the thematic analysis method suggested by Braun and Clarke (2005). The results of the study are as follows. As a result of analyzing the data, 141 meaningful themes were derived, and they were compressed into 22 themes. And it was presented as a collection of 7 themes. The thematic gatherings appeared as the hope of class dissolution, the shadow of military-first politics, seizure of rights in the power of control, anger against the hungry republic, breaking the snare of ideas, discovery and challenge of opportunities, and a nation serving the people. Discussions were held based on the results of the research, and specific suggestions were made for the development and challenge of North Korean defectors.
