Abstract
본 연구는 일반인들이 활용할 수 있는 ‘산정보’ 도출을 목적으로 한다. 국가기본도에서 추출한 국토교통부 자료를 기준으로 하고, 국토지리정보원 자료를 추가하여 추출한 강원도의 산정보를 산 지명, 산 위치, 산 높이(고도)로 분석하였다. 첫째, 강원도의 산 지명은 총 910개이며, 지명의 후부 요소는 ‘산’이 565개, ‘봉’이 335개이다. 같은 지명 10개 이상으로 매봉산(23개), 수리봉(19개), 삿갓봉(16개), 매봉(10개)이 있다. 둘째, 산의 위치 분포는 정선군이 113개, 홍천군 89개, 삼척시 85개 순으로 많고, 철원군, 양구군, 고성군, 인제군 등 접경지역이 적다. 셋째, 강원도 산의 평균 높이(고도)는 전국 대비 약 318m가 높은 673.7m로 전국 광역시도 중 가장 높으며, 시군별 고도는 태백시가 1,186.1m로 가장 높고, 동해시가 318.8m로 가장 낮다. 강원도의 1,000m 이상의 산은 198개이며 평창군이 32개 16.2%로 가장 많고, 1,500m 이상의 산은 12개이다. 강원도의 최고고도의 산은 인제군 설악산(대청봉)으로 1,708.1m이고, 가장 낮은 산은 고성군의 ‘거북산’으로 고도 15.5m이다.
The purpose of this study is to derive ‘mountain information’ available to the public. The information is based on the information of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport extracted from National Base Map, and added data from the National Geographic Information Institute to analyze the mountain information of Gangwon-do by name, location, and height (altitude) of mountains. First, Gangwon-do has a total of 910 mountain names, and for rear elements of geographical name, there were 565 ‘mountains’ and 335 ‘mountain peaks’. There were more than 10 identical geographical names as Maebongsan Mountain (23), Suribong Peak (19), Satgatbong Peak(16), and Maebong Peak (10). Second, distribution of mountain location was in the order of Jeongseon-gun of 113, Hongcheon-gun of 89, and Samcheok-si of 85, and there are few border areas in Cheorwon-gun, Yanggu-gun, Goseong-gun, and Inje-gun. Third, the average height (altitude) of mountains in Gangwon-do is the highest among metropolitan cities in the country, which is about 318 meters higher than the whole country, and for elevation by si (city) and gun (county), Taebaek-si is the highest as 1,186.1 m and Donghae-si is the lowest as 318.8 m. There are 198 mountains over 1,000 m in Gangwon-do. Pyeongchang-gun has the largest number as 32 which is 16.2%, and there are 12 mountains over 1,500 m. The highest mountain in Gangwon-do is Seoraksan Mountain (Daecheongbong Peak) in Inje-gun, and the lowest mountain is ‘Geobuksan’ in Goseong-gun with an altitude of 15.5 m.
