연구 목적: 본 연구는 종교의 평화사상과 종교계의 평화교육 실천 사례들을 통해 ‘한반도 평화교육’의 방향을 제안하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구 방법: 국내외의 관련 선행연구에 대한 검토를 포함하여 전반적으로 문헌 연구를 중심으로 진행하였다. 연구 내용: ‘한반도 평화교육’을 위한 사상ㆍ문화적 기초를 한반도, 특히 남한 사회 구성원들의 사고와 삶에 많은 영향을 미친 유교, 불교, 그리스도교의 종교적 전통 속에서 찾아본다. 또한 실제로 갈등과 분쟁으로 고통받고 있는 세계 여러 지역에서 평화교육을 통해 평화의 문화를 만들어내고 평화를 정착시키고 있는 종교계의 노력을 살펴본다. 결론 및 제언: ‘한반도 평화교육’의 목표로 정의와 사랑을, 핵심 내용으로 용서와 화해를, 방법으로는 대화와 연대를 제시한다. 이러한 방향에서 평화교육을 실시한다면 사회 구성원들의 평화역량을 제고하고 사회 전반에 진정한 평화의 문화를 형성하고 확산시킬 수 있을 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of ‘peace education on the Korean Peninsula’ through the peace ideology of religion and the practice of peace education of the religious community. It was conducted mainly on literature research, including the review of relevant domestic and foreign prior research. This study is to find the ideological and cultural basis for ‘peace education on the Korean Peninsula’, especially in the religious traditions of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Christianity, which have greatly influenced the thinking and life of members of South Korean society. It also examines the efforts of the religious community to create a culture of peace and establish peace through peace education in various regions of the world that are actually suffering from conflicts and conflicts. Based on these studies, justice and love as the goal of ‘peace education on the Korean Peninsula’, forgiveness and reconciliation as the core content, and dialogue and solidarity as the method are presented. If we look at peace education in this direction, we can improve the peace capacity of the members of society and form and spread a true culture of peace throughout society.
