개신교 복지이념에 의한 사회사업의 중요성은 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있습니다. 개신교 적 사회사업은 경제적, 정신적, 신체적으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 사회적 약자와 소외된 이들에게 지원을 제공함으로써, 그들의 삶의 질을 향상하는데 기여하고 있다. 예를 들어, 개신교는 빈곤, 실업, 질병, 장애, 노인, 이주자 등 다양한 분야의 사회문제를 해결하기 위한 다양한 사회사업 활동을 전개하고 있다. 개신교 적 사회사업은 예수 그리스도의 사랑과 관용을 실천하고, 그분의 사랑을 세상에 전달하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 개신교는 봉사와 나눔을 통해 사랑과 자비의 가치를 실천하고 있다. 한편, 개신교 복지이념에 의한 사회사업에도 다음과 같은 한계가 있다. 개신교적 사회사업은 주로 교회와 교인들의 자발적인 봉사와 기부 때문에 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 자원 부족으로 인해 사회사업의 규모와 범위가 제한될 수 있다. 개신교 적 사회사업은 대부분 자원봉사자에 의해 이루어지고 있어서, 전문성이 부족할 수 있다. 따라서 사회사업의 질을 높이기 위해서는 전문적인 교육과 훈련을 제공하는 것이 필요하다. 개신교 적 사회사업은 사회복지 기관과 같은 사회적 제도와의 연계가 부족한 예도 있다. 따라서 사회복지 제도와의 연계를 강화하여 사회사업의 효율성을 높이는 것이 필요하다. 개신교 복지이념에 의한 사회사업은 사회적 약자와 소외된 이들의 삶의 질 향상과 사회적 차별과 불평등 해소에 기여하고 있다. 하지만 자원 부족, 전문성 부족, 사회적 제도와의 연계 부족 등의 한계가 있다. 따라서 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위한 노력이 필요하다.

To this end, Protestant churches practice the values of love and mercy through service and sharing. Meanwhile, social work based on Protestant welfare ideology also has the following limitations. Protestant social work is mainly accomplished through voluntary service and donations from churches and church members. Therefore, the scale and scope of social projects may be limited due to lack of resources. Protestant social work is mostly done by volunteers, so there may be a lack of expertise. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of social work, it is necessary to provide professional education and training. There are instances where Protestant social work lacks connection with social institutions such as social welfare organizations. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the efficiency of social work by strengthening the link with the social welfare system.
