제품은 사용자에게 편의를 가져다 주는 도구이기 때문에 제품의 발달도 사용자 중심으로 연구, 진화되어 왔다. 제품 디자인의 개발 방향도 사용자의 편의성을 염두에 두면서 진행되었으며, 이러한 제품의 기능을 사용자가 수용할 수 있는 형태로 전개 하는 것이 어쩌면 제품디자인 연구의 골격이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 사용자의 편의성 증진을 위한 기능적인 해결안들이 첨단적인 과학기술들에 의존함에 따라 제품의 기능은 사용자가 그 기능을 이해하기 어려울 만큼 복잡해 졌고, 제품 디자인의 측면에서는 복잡한 기능들을 형태로 반영하기가 수월하지 않은 양상을 보이고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 인터페이스의 이해를 바탕으로 자동차의 계기판 디자인을 선정하여 계기판의 공통점과 차이점을 발견하기 위해 실질적 조사와 분석이 이루어졌으며, 사용자측면에서의 인터페이스 디자인을 적용한 자동차 계기판을 디자인 결과물로 제시하고자한다.
I think that the product is a tool to bring customers convenience, thus its development has been advanced and studied with a concentration on customer`s situation. So does the development of design. I believe the core of product design should be stated in the way users can admit easily. But most of functional solutions to enhance convenience of users depends on the spreadhead science and technology and it becomes more and more difficult for customers to understand the function of products and use easily. In the light of product design, there have been some difficulties in transforming those complicated functions into appropriate shape to handle easily. Therefore, I want to conduct systematic researches on how to improve an acknowledgement quality of dashboard based on the understanding of interface. To find out common points and differences between the existing dashboard and newly designed, actual research and analysis have been carried out and i`d like to present the dashboard in which interface design is applied from the view of user as a result of research.
