Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the papers related to online or artificial intelligence among the Korean language education papers published from 2020 to 2023 after the coronavirus, and to suggest the direction of future research through comparison with English education. To this end, 282 papers in the field of Korean language education were selected from RISS and 195 papers related to English education were selected through the Web of Science. These papers were analyzed and compared, focusing on the object of study, the content of the study, the research topic, and the online and artificial intelligence tools used in the study. As a result of the study, basic and development research was mainly conducted in English education, while the majority of research was conducted in Korean language education to apply online platforms and applications to the educational field. Based on the results of the study, it was suggested that it is necessary to conduct research on the use of VR/AR and artificial intelligence technology in the field in the classroom, as well as to develop evaluation tools and interdisciplinary research.
