This article first examines the initial meaning, developmental meaning and derived meaning of "系". Secondly, a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis was carried out on the structural form and semantic function of the "X系". In terms of the productivity of the "X系", a quantitative analysis method different from the previous qualitative analysis was tried-based on corpus single frequency The calculation method of words, and the comparison with other homomorphic suffixes further proved its word formation ability. In the analysis of structure and semantic function, this article starts from the perspective of construction grammar, firstly inspects the "X系" and the secondary derivative structure "X系Y" of the "系" family words, and finds the "X系Y" structure It is derived by adding other components after the "X系". Although it has the characteristics of batch word creation and semantic classification, it can only be regarded as the "X系" because of its semantic reality and poor adhesion to the "Y". A common morpheme with a certain productivity. In the semantic investigation of the "X系" construction, it is found that the semantic transparency of the structure is not consistent. When the "X" is an adjective, its overall semantic characteristics can be inferred from the composition, which shows that its transparency is more transparent than the noun and The verb must be high. In the syntactic structure, the "X系" is relatively free and can serve as a variety of components, such as attributive, adverbial, complement, subject, predicate, and object. Then, through the investigation of corpus, the diachronic development process of the "X系" is divided into three stages, namely the initiation period, the secondary derivative period and the continuous development period. Finally, different from previous studies, this article starts from the point of view of the relationship between form and meaning, using construction suppression and metaphorical mechanisms to interpret the formation of the "X系" construction.
