본 연구는 대학생의 내현적 자기애가 사람들에게서 멀어짐에 미치는 영향에서 자 기비난과 경험회피의 순차적 매개효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 대학 생 총 391명을 대상으로 내현적 자기애, 자기비난, 경험회피 및 사람들에게서 멀어 짐을 측정하는 설문조사를 실시하였고, SPSS 25.0 프로그램과 Process macro v4.2 를 사용하여 상관분석, 단순 매개효과 및 순차적 매개효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내현적 자기애, 사람들에게서 멀어짐, 자기 비난, 경험회피 각각의 변인 간에 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 내현적 자 기애와 사람들에게서 멀어짐의 관계에서 자기비난의 매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나 타났으나, 경험회피의 매개효과는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 내현적 자 기애와 사람들에게서 멀어짐의 관계에서 자기비난과 경험회피의 순차적 매개효과는 유의하지 않았다. 마지막으로, 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의 및 제한점 을 통해 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the sequential mediating effects of self-criticism and experiential avoidance on the effects of university students' covert narcissism on moving away from people. For this purpose, a total of 391 university students were surveyed to measure covert narcissism, self-criticism, experiential avoidance, and moving away from people, and correlation, simple mediation, and sequential mediation effects were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 program and Process macro v4.2. The findings of this study were as follows. First, there were significant positive correlations between each of the variables of covert narcissism, moving away from people, self-criticism, and experiential avoidance. Second, the mediating effect of self-criticism on the relationship between covert narcissism and moving away from people was significant, but the mediating effect of experiential avoidance was not significant. Third, the sequential mediating effects of self-criticism and experiential avoidance on the relationship between covert narcissism and moving away from people were not significant. Finally, based on the research results, suggestions for subsequent studies were discussed through the significance and limitations of this study.
