Abstract
In this study, after collecting data such as pressure and flow rate, the field measurement data of water pipe system of the study site, the EPANET model was used to simulate changes in the system. In addition, Hazen-Williams C value number of 930 were calculated for water pipe in the study using the Hazen-Williams formula using the results of EPANET.Accordingly, the project used pressure meter, water meter, and pipe network installed by the Multi-regional water supply to determine the Hazen-Williams C value of the conduit corresponding to the system characteristics of the water supply in the Jeon-Ju area. However, a number of divergence section within the site conditions resulted in non-observance points within the measuring interval and at the end of the line, and In order to this problem, pipe network analysis modeling was used. Therefore, the Hazen-Williams C value with the smallest margin of error was determined and used as the actual measurement value at the non-observation point to determine the Hazen-Williams C value.A correlation analysis was conducted to analyze the relationship between the collected Hazen-Williams C value and the physical impact factors in the system, and finally, comparison and analysis with the formulas presented through past research results. Therefore, in the case of a lack of prior studies in determining or using a Hazen-Williams C value for a future study site, the reliability factor presented in this study may be used as a reference or a criteria.
